Kevin Tromp (1993) is a writer, director, and editor. He graduated from the University of the Arts Utrecht in 2019.​​​​​​​
His work centers on visual storytelling and non-verbal expression, often exploring the inner worlds of introspective characters who feel isolated or disconnected from their surroundings. A recurring theme in his films is the relationship between humans and nature, portrayed through atmospheric narratives with elements of magical realism. His stories aim to reflect on contemporary issues in subtle, poetic ways.
De Wandelaar (2025), Vermist Kind (2023) and Moonrise Carcosa (2019) premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival and have been nominated for Best Film, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
